According to The Madison Square Garden Company, the 2019 Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes will run from November 8th, 2019 to January 5th, 2020.
The performance continues to include both traditional elements and cutting edge technology to enhance the audience’s experience. This year’s show will feature aerials flying across the stage as 100 drones create different shapes and patterns surrounding Santa Claus. The show will also introduce new choreography and new costumes. The new finale will also include “Christmas Lights” and all new digital projections, which were introduced in 2018. “Christmas Lights” is a continuation of the “Living Nativity” scene, which has been a part of the Christmas Spectacular since the shows inception in 1933.
The Radio City Rockettes are the longest-running precision dance company in America and are famous for their iconic style of dance and their unity both onstage and off. The Rockettes have entertained and inspired audiences for generations and have created memories which will last a lifetime.
