Big news for fans of Broadway in Spain. The hit Broadway musical, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, is opening in Madrid in 2020. A casting notice was put out earlier this week for the Spanish language version of the musical. They are looking for singers, dancers, actors, and the entire principal cast for the production.
Tina began performances on Broadway on October 12, 2019 and officially opened on November 7th. It is directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and written by Katori Hall with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins. It opened on London's West End in 2018 where it has rave reviews and is still booking tickets through 2020. A production opened in Germany in 2019 and that show is also selling tickets through 2020 as well.
