On March 8, 2020 original cast members Barrett Wilbert Weed, Grey Henson, and Kate Rockwell will play their final performances with Mean Girls.
Weed will be missed as she originated the role of Janis Sarkisian for the Broadway production of the musical. Taking over for her will be Olivia Kaufmann, who is the current standby for Janis and other roles. She will be taking over the role full time starting on March 10th.
Chad Burris is currently playing Olaf for Broadway's Frozen and takes on the role of Damian Hubbard on March 10th from Grey Henson.
Also leaving the current Mean Girls production is Erika Henningsen, who plays Cady Heron. She will exit the show February 22, 2020 and no replacement has been announced.
