For the Virtual Thespian Festival, iHeartRadio Broadway and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS teamed up to create the #ThesFest20 exclusive late night talk show Curtain Call. Curtain Call is hosted by SJ Arnegger (Director, iHeartRadio Broadway) with Michael Di Bianco (Educational Specialist) for Broadway Care Equity Fights AIDS. The third and final Curtain Call premiered last night and featured Arielle Jacobs (Aladdin, In the Heights, Wicked) joining the program to talk about her Broadway and theatrical career. SJ and Arielle also chat about the new musical she is currently scheduled to star in called Between the Lines which is based on the book by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer and features musical and lyrics by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, book by Timothy Allen McDonald and directed by Jeff Calhoun. Arielle's brother and fellow Broadway star Adam Jacobs (Aladdin, The Lion King) makes a surprise appearance and the two join the rapid fire musical theatre quiz.
Also joining Curtain Call is Mrs. Doubtfire star Analise Scarpaci (Matilda The Musical, A Christmas Story, The Musical). Analise talks about what it's like being a part of a highly anticipated new musical and working with her extremely talented co-stars. Analise gives the Thespians some insight on what it's like being a current college student at Pace University as a musical theatre major while also working on a Broadway show. At the end, Analise also joins the rapid fire musical theatre quiz!
