Jhardon DiShon Milton, currently starring as Ronnie in the Broadway production of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, closes out Pride Month with a cover of “Beautiful City” from Godspell and a powerful message.
“My ask of you, is to ask yourself, okay... what am I doing, what will I do, and what can I do to ensure that I am standing up for my brother and for my sister and that we are all standing solidarity and not against each other… What we need is until and more love. I am proud member of the queer community, I am proud black man, I am a proud man of God, it’s my responsibly to continue to share love and to spread as much light as I can.”
