For those of you who thought that you may not be able to sit back and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic don't sell yourself short just yet. The parade is currently working on reminaging itself and it is not cancelled.
Organizers have said that since they had such a great response to the fireworks they did for the Fourth of July they are hard at work reimagining the Thanksgiving Day Parade for 2020.
Following our successful, safe and innovative production of Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, it is our intention to similarly reimagine Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this November. Stay tuned for more details later this fall.
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said that he expects both the parade as well as the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting to happen, just in a different format.
