On the latest episode of Growin' Up Broadway, Tim McDonald and SJ Arnegger take you inside the Virtual Junior Theatre Festival that took place in January. Up first is "Direct From Broadway" and features interview with Six the Musical creators Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, Brittney Mack, Ryan McCartan, Krystina Alabado, Isaac Powell, Luca Padovan and Isabella Russo. "Direct From Broadway" was recording in advance and followed all guidelines for social distancing.
The Virtual Junior Theatre Festival is produced by iTheatrics and is normally held in person every year in Atlanta, Sacramento and coming soon Surgarland, Texas. The Junior Theatre Festival is the world's biggest and best celebration of young people performing musical theatre. The Junior Theatre Festival bring student musical theatre troupes from all over the world for a weekend of theatre magic and mayhem.
