Charli D’Amelio will make her Broadway debut tonight, October 29, 2024, in the company of the hit Broadway musical & Juliet. D’Amelio, who spent more than a decade as a competitive dancer before launching her social media career and becoming the world’s most followed TikToker, begins performances as part of the ensemble in the dance-heavy role of ‘Charmion.’
D’Amelio fondly recalls her early experiences seeing Broadway shows like Wicked and SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical and reminisces about how Bex Robinson, the former "Charmion," taught her dance when she was a kid. Now, stepping into the role of Charmion herself, it all feels like a full circle moment for her.
Beginning October 29, the Broadway company of & Juliet will include Maya Boyd as ‘Juliet,’ Alison Luff as ‘Anne,’ Drew Gehling as ‘Shakespeare,’ Liam Pearce as ‘Romeo,’ Michael Iván Carrier as ‘May,’ and Jeannette Bayardelle ‘Angélique.’ Nathan Levy will join the company as ‘François’ on November 19. Standing room tickets will be $45 per ticket, and available for purchase in-person at the box office of the Sondheim Theatre the day of sold-out performances only, pending availability.
