The upcoming star of Broadway's Waitress, Shoshana Bean, and composer Jason Robert Brown are set to star in Second Stage's upcoming one-night only concert presentation of Brown's musical The Last Five Years.
In celebration of Second Stage's 40th anniversary, the theater introduced a series of one night only concerts titled Musical Mondays. The series will continue on March 11 with Saturday Nightby Julius J. Epstein, Philip G. Epstein, and Stephen Sondheim; on March 18 with Peter Duchan, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul’s Dogfight; and on March 25 with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey’s Next To Normal.
The Last Five Years tells the story of Jamie (Brown) and Cathy (Bean), two New Yorkers who fall head over heels in love- and out of love- over the course of five years. The one night only concert will take place at the Tony Kiser Theater on March 4 at 7:00pm. Single tickets are $89 and premium tickets are $125. Tickets and more information can be found here.
