Wicked alum Mary Kate Morrissey has her next big role! She’ll be starring as Janis Sarkisian in the Mean Girls national tour production. Morrissey, no stranger to the road, played Elphaba on the traveling tour of Wicked most recently.
It was revealed at the Stars in the Alley concert earlier today that she’ll be joining Mean Girls, which hit the road September 21, 2019 in Buffalo. Additional casting will be announced later. The Mean Girls musical continues its current run at the August Wilson Theatre where it opened in April last year.
