Bette Midler To Make Special Appearance at New York Pride

Bette Midler will be making a special appearance at New York Pride’s Main Event this Saturday, June 29th.

The Beaches actress and singer is set to perform at 11pm. Midler will be performing a song alongside composer Marc Shaiman, who composed Mary Poppins Returns and Hairspray.

Midler moved to New York in 1965 to study theatre. She has been in various different plays and movies since then and has created a career for herself in music.

Along with Midler, the WorldPride celebration will have performances from Cyndi Lauper, Chris Grant, a special percussion, and a dance and visual presentation from STOMP.

Midler’s performance will be part of what is expected to be the biggest Pride charity event in history.

The event will take place in the 1.8 million square-foot Jacob Javitz Center at 655 W 34th St. in Manhattan, NY. All of the proceeds from this event will go to significant LGBTQ charities.
