The writer of the beloved song "Day-O," Irving Louis Burgie, better known as Lord Burgess, celebrated his 95th birthday with the cast of Beetlejuice following Wednesday's matinee performance.
Alex Brightman, "Beetlejuice" himself, gave a brief speech during the curtain call welcoming Lord Burgess to the stage, followed by a sing along of “Day-O” with the audience. Happy 95th Birthday, Lord Burgess!
