The new musical, Flying Over Sunset, begins previews at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre by Lincoln Center Theater on March 12, 2020, with an opening night set for April 16, 2020.
Carmen Cusack, Harry Hadden-Paton, and Tony Yazbeck return to Broadway as Clare Boothe Luce, Aldous Huxley, and Cary Grant, respectively. Other cast members include Erika Henningsen, Jeremy Kushnier, Emily Pynenburg, Michele Ragusa, Robert Sella, Laura Shoop, and Atticus Ware. The new musical features a book and direction by James Lapine, music by Tom Kitt and lyrics by Michael Korie and choreography by Michelle Dorrance in her Broadway debut.

Set in the 1950s, Flying Over Sunset is inspired by the lives of writer Aldous Huxley; playwright, diplomat, and congresswoman, Clare Booth Luce; and film legend Cary Grant - each of whom in real life experimented with the drug LSD. Under the influence of the drug, take a trip and confront the mysteries of their lives and their world.
