Recently award winning Jazz vocalist Jane Monheit joined iHeartRadio Broadway's SJ Arnegger to talk about her new album Come What May, which is available today on all streaming music platform. The album, produced by Club44 Records is Monheit's first album in five years and celebrates her 20th anniversary as a best-selling recoding artist. Come What May was produced by Monheit, Wayne Haun and Jamey Tate.
Come What May highlights Monheit's fresh take on the first-rate standards and was recording in the middle of the global pandemic. "So Much of Come What May is really a way for me to cope with the pandemic in my own personal way," Monheit explains. "For example, 'Let's take a Walk Around the Block.' We would all like the visit the magical places listed in the song, but we don't have nay money right now - so let's just enjoy where we are. I believe everyone can relate to that idea!"
To celebrate the release of her album, Monheit has partnered with Feinstein's at Vitello's for a live virtual release concert. The concert is tonight March 12th at 8PM EST and tickets are still available by visiting feinsteinsatvitellos.com.
